I took some ones advice online and kept small block K member and used stock 440 mounts when I changed from the poly 318 in the 66 to the big block and this is the result, the trans is hanging on wire at the proper height at the shaft and about 3/4" to one side but this is way off-time to visit Schumacher for mounts?

These cars are built to offset the engine a little bit to the right.

Never looked at it like that, I always thought the engine was more to one side with mopars.

But that much? Isn't that going to effect the fan?

I had a hard time installing the engine/Trans also, the rear of the right motor mnt wouldn't clear by about 3/4" until I wrenched it around pretty good-that's another reason I think the mounts may be off,it should have fell in a lot easier

Pics of engine mounts is needed here as it sounds like you mixed up the right and left mounts.
