Anyone seen this one?  I don't dig the spoilers but its pretty sick!!  I love the body mods and interior.

Not for me, the shaker just looks so awkward and out of place on that car.  I saw it at Columbus this past summer and for me, I just didn't care for it much.  :Twocents:

another 2nd generation Charger wrecked by some idiot with more money than brains....the color is about the only thing I like about it....and technically, it's not even street legal....no wipers

love the color. and um i er um, oh yea, i love the hemi. didnt care for the spoilers, shaped hood, fender mods, shaker, so many things. i guess everybody has a right to their own choices, and i didnt pay for the work, just not for me. :shruggy:

The spoilers aren't doing it for me, either. I would have put the mirrors in the right spot, too.
But otherwise I can appreciate the work & craftsmanship, I can dig the rest of it. Love the color and interior mods.

i did forget to say also that i love the name "street shaker" :yesnod:

I guess we could agree we respect the artistis rendering and made it come to life...though we dont need to agree if we like it or not.

I have 2 things -

1.  The Shaker isn't grossing me out, I always thought it would.

2.  At least it was a 318 car originally.

Back in the day, this would have been a cool car at the local Autorama!

Since the classic Chargers have been elevated to "iconic" status,  I agree, another one messed up...   :eek2:
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

RallyeMike

There aren't very many Mopar guys who are going to look at that and not think "that scoop is on the wrong car".

Mmm-m   :rotz:    Doesn't fit.

I'm wondering how the idea came about for the "indentations" at the top front of each fender?

how about that front spoiler? Or is that a mirror?

It's a spoiler.

yea..kinda like the front "splitter" on the Nascar race cars of today

Love the tucked bumpers, recessed door handles, the interior, and the color, the wheels, but for God's sake lose the Auto-Zone wing, and that...."double chin" thing going on under the front of the car.  2nd Gen Chargers have bodies that no one wants to change, even if you could do so; it's almost criminal to change one single line on it.  Now that I think about it, lose the brake "cooling" ducts as well, or go buy a Coronet if you're into that sort of thing.

Did Hot Wheels have a hand in building this car?

Baldwinvette77

if it werent for the road runner side scoops, and the indents in the fender, i would have liked it alot more, but i just think its overkill, plus i think they could have kept the hood indents  :scratchchin:

DAY CLONA

See what happens when a GM guy decides to build a Mopar, even as a custom build he missed the mark......gouge my eyes out, please!

I agree. The mods are gaudy but I can't imagine the amount of work that went into that thing, especially the paint and trim. Had the body mods been left out I think most here would be pretty excited about it.

Ghoste

Agreed, too many of these guys don't understand less is more.  It especially applies whne the foundation is already so perfect.

nvrbdn

i agree bull, without the wing and nascar air dam, without the RR side scoops, and lose the fender dips, i could actually live with the hood and shaker (though id rather not have the shaker) i could live with the mirrors and just paint them body color. i dont care for the silver around the tail lights either.

i guess im stuck......without all those things i guess im back to a regular 70 charger.

but then i would really love it. :2thumbs:

My wife and I saw that thing at the Detroit auto show.  We both shook our heads.   :rotz:

I'd like to take a closer look at that console.  I'm sick of staring at my naked auto-shifter and have been looking for ideas on a console for years...

Bob T

It would pull off the package better if it lost the front strobe stripe, and good efforts to the body guys, but it just doesn't do much for me. You kind of wonder what the owners brief to the builder was, its hard to understand what they were trying to emulate or achieve, not an all out show car nor a pro Streeter either, maybe  just the owners input and the builders output with ideas being shouted down in both camps :shruggy:

My eyes, although they don't burn, feel irritated and sore  :scratchchin:
