I don't know, it's an awfully good looking car.  Although I do wonder what the reserve is.

JB400

I will agree that it is a nice car.  The price doesn't really surprise much.  Considering the price of 2nd and 3rd gen Chargers in the same condition, this car is a pretty good deal.  I know it's not high on the collectivity list, but when the most preferred are out of price range, people start looking for cheaper alternatives.  This is one of them.

moparstuart

its still just a survivor cordoba    :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:

Not a good deal at 9k a very nice 3rd gen can be had for that....a true charger.

cordoba-rick

With all the nice stuff that can be done with a 318....well...nice car.  There is a stroker kit that turns a 318 into a 390, I think. Add good heads and wow, what a smogger sleeper. :icon_smile_cool:

Ghoste

I don't know that I'd go so far as to say it isn't a true Charger.  It's a two door, V8 rear wheel drive B-body Dodge and after all the VIN begins with an "X" which was always the designator for a Charger whereas the 3rd gens begin with a "W", the designator for a Coronet.  Just sayin'. :D

scat pack fever

That is one clean car. Look at the engine compartment. You never know which direction "demand" will go. The 1975 road runners seem to be bringing decent money. People may start going in a different direction since the 68-70 chargers are so pricey. 70-71 cuda's and challengers too. I'm really not surprised at the price.

With muscle cars, $9k is the new $3k.

When I was 16, I had a 77 Cordoba with the 360 4bbl... I will admit that that was one of the funnest cars to drive. It had front and rear sway bars, handled awesome, rode nice, and had a big back seat. :) spent lots of time in it... I would actually love that charger... Put a built small block in it and basically leave the rest untouched... If I had the money, I wouldn't have a problem paying that for it... Would rather have it than a new Camry or something.

Think about it this way. Some people liked it better when times were simpler and often wish they could just go back and buy a nice, roomy and simple land yacht for half the price of a KIA Optima.

But that ain't no Muscle car. :Twocents:
Not in the traditional sense, but it could be.

You guys are showing your age.  These days "muscle car" means anything old enough to have chrome bumpers or a carburetor.

So true Bull...
Charger guys may not think much of it, at least by comparison, but it's still a sharp looking car that more than a few people would like to have I'm sure... I know I would.

F8-4life

Pretty original & under 10k og miles, warrent "survivor" claims that mean 9k on ebay I guess.
This thread makes me thankfull to have a 69! No comparison!

Your term some people is an understatement. What we would like to enjoy is messed up with the mother thinking mentality of a very few flat earth thinking save us all intruders to our lives.  ::)

Well, at least it only has two doors!!!

I hear ya, but someone out there obviously has another opinion.
I wouldn't pay that much for a Cordoba, even if it does say Charger on it.... I'd still like to have one though.

There will always be a segment that considers anything post '72 as crap. I'm fine with that as it means I get to play with V8, RWD, 70s era mopars for less than a mortgage.

Ghoste

Yep.  I absolutely have my favorites but there are some great cars out there that can be missed if you wear blinders.
