What does it weigh?

I have had my car in an extended purgatory confinement. I'm ready to go rescue it, but I need to know the weight of a 68 charger shell. The car is just the unibody and glass. All of the drivetrain components are at my house, along with the interior. The only interior part is the dashboard. Can any of you guys give me an approximate weight of this car? I'm going to get it columbus day weekend.

Probably on the order of 1000 lbs.  Definitely under 1500. 


That's for NOTHING mechanical.  No K-frame, no steering column, no leaf springs, does not include whatever caster wheel setup you are rolling it on, etc.

Not sure what the number is but it's not much. With the drivetrain out and the front or rear suspension out you almost feel like you can pick one up and carry it on your back. Maybe not but during my resto I was able to push my 68 in and out of the garage pretty easily by myself on a slanted driveway. That all changed once the engine was put in of course. I pushed it out one day and it wouldn't come back in. I had to ask the neighbors for help.
