  Howdy is your back pain tied to a work injury or event ,time an place you can pin point or yrs of work an wear an tear??  seems like the lawyer should bee working to get you checks not taking yours. totally understand if ya cant give too much info on a open forum.

     i was a mechanic heavy an new assembly,lived on pills for yrs to keep job,wife-family an home together. sure in less pain an stress after being fired,- laid off because of lack of work?10 yrs at that job. took few more yrs to get classed disabled an pay. feel free to sent PM if better for you . we also have a depression ,ask for help thread with some good ideas an people going thru alot of stuff.
   Well for now hold on and work on some peace an enjoyment .  it took few yrs to get any ssi an a lawyer. then yrs to learn to think as the poor country kid i was raised as an cut spending to survive on that small pay. am 54 was tossed 12 yrs ago by job an 14 yrs ago by 2nd wife,just got done with kid support after 13 yrs of paying her..
