A group of pictures from the Frankenmuth MI car show on 9-7-13. Most of the pictures I took were of Mopars. It is a fairly large show and you definitely need your walking shoes for this one. I normally return home sore from the hike although this year we smartened up and arrived at the show really early on Saturday morning and thankfully were parked much closer than we were last year. The Friday evening show on the street in Frankenmuth was great as usual and the weather was good. Saturday the show in the park was plagued with a few showers but still had a large turnout.

Thanks for the pictures. I was planning on hitting the show this year just got my weekends mixed up.  Frankenmuth is a great town, I never get tired of going through there.  :2thumbs:

I hear the car show is now the towns largest event of the year, larger than any of the Christmas events they put on.

Ok, now I am ready for some Zenders chicken.

I'm pretty sure the red 1969 Coronet R/T convertible was recently featured in a magazine (within a year or so).  Such a beautiful car!  :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

I had no clue this was going on...not that my car would be going anywhere this year but still....

Holy cow!  That's the entire population of Michigan!  So that's why it was so quiet out...

Couple more shots of the show!  Another shot of the street,  A cuda with a cuda trailer, custom e body and the cars waiting to get out onto the street which is a battle in itself!

I don't think I've ever been to anything half as big as that show...

A few more shots from the Friday evening street show, it was pretty hard to get much in the way of photos as the crowd was huge as you can tell by a few earlier posts. There was so much stuff around in the way of cars that you could walk off up side streets and into parking lots and find cool cars that just didn't get to the actual street due to lack of room, the crowd, or maybe the owner just decided to leave the ride and walk through rather than trying to get on the main street. I didn't carry a camera on Friday evening, just took a few shots with my phone. Some of the following pictures were stuff I shot on Saturday that I missed posting previously. The weather was much better and it was a great evening. The Frankenmuth show always seems to land the week-end after Labor Day, so you MI/ONT/OH members that may be interested mark your calenders for 2014.
