In Denmark where I live there a rules about changing brakes. I can only make a drum/disc convertion if the model of the car is born with disc brakes. Is there any charger from the early years with disc brakes from factory ?

Sorry for spelling  ;)

But, the original Kelsey Hayes disc brakes were known to have problems. One was leaks at calipers, another today is finding parts.

Birkholm, when I was in Belgium the rule was pretty much the same as in Denmark but there was a way out of this.  Not sure if you can do this but it's worth looking into.

Once the car was inspected, nothing could be changed unless it was a stock part.  No upgrades, no custom work, not even tire size.

The trick was to do all the conversions before you had it inspected, now your upgraded car was the norm and replacement parts had to be the same.

See if that would work.

How would an inspecting body outside of the US know what's supposed to be "stock" on a Dodge Charger?  Hell, most of the parts stores in the US with their computers can't even figure out what goes on older cars...

That is also a factor but there is only so much you can get away with.  They too have their sources.  And would you take a chance on what is in essence fraud and risk one hell of a headache?  I don't know the story in Denmark but in that part of the world, well documented and mandatory annual check ups are pretty common.

My best strategy is simply go and ask the local dmv.  If they know you want to play by the rules, they may just be a little easier to work with.
