For the Memoirs - Walter Chrysler Museum Tour

I was fortunate enough to be offered something for the Memoirs... a private tour of the Walter Chrysler Museum which is no longer open to the general public. TUFCAT senior was a wonderful host and I thank him for his generosity.   

I have some pics of my tour but unfortunately not a great deal to comment on. So all you guys that want a narrative are going to have to talk to yourself.

So I wonder what will happen to all the cars?  Would be cool if they went to somewhere like Hickory Corners, MI where they have the car museums  . . . . and the Mopars at the Red Barn!  Went there this year for the first time and what a cool place!  I know they are currently expanding but I think the new building is for some Ferds . . .

Would be cool if the group from this forum could go on a "field trip" to the museum for a group tour. I know just a pipedream.

The cars are not going anywhere.   It was announced recently that the WPC Museum collection is staying intact and in the building.   The facility will be opened every so often for special events.   They are also booking rentals for weddings or other private events.    Next June, the CEMA show will return at the museum.   This is an open show run by the Chrysler Employee Motorsports Assn.   They had about 400 cars this year and 2000 people through the museum.    Anyone can attend and bring any kind of car.   But there are a LOT of Mopars at that show.

Which means the potential for a group visit is quite real.
