My 10-year old is as bad or worse on cars than I have ever been. I found a surprisingly clean and complete 1964 Plymouth Valient 2-door in a yard here that I can buy to re-do as a father/son project. No (or very little) rust and all the glass is still good, interior is a bit rough (torn upholstery, but not missing anything that I could see.  In theory it runs (slant 6 auto).   What is a fair price to offer on this junkyard queen and how tough will it be to get a title for it?  Any other  issues to look out for?

Finn, that's about what I was thinking.  God only knows how long this thing has been outta circulation.  In 1964, was that a 170 or a 225 slant six? This car looks like a pre-pubesent Barracuda!  Dinky, but kinda neat.

Project on hold until I can find a few critical resources (like time, money, and a place to do it).  This used to be alot easier.

For what it's worth, I hope you can make it work. I am in just about the same situation at the moment. Now, if I can just get over to see the car before it goes away.  :eek2:
