When I got my charger they came with a set of mud flaps, I presume these are aftermarket and not oem right? as i havn't seen any on other cars, just making sure. Thanks

Yeh , aftermarket some one put them on to stop the patina paint work getting scratched lol  ;D lol

And if they were oem, I'd rip them off of mine anyway.  But that's just my taste, there are many who love them and that's fine too.

Into the trash they go

Thanks guys.

If mudflaps were OEM then AMD wouldn't be selling as much sheetmetal these days.

You may not like the look but it really saves the paint.  Lots of cars ran them back in the 70's.

if your worried about the paint , does not suit all colors, next when you see a Porsche in the street , have a look at a product 3m supplies to them , stone absorbing clear film, only draw back , on white paint it has a slight yellow, very effective at protecting lower paint areas,

I'm not denying they work, they just look really hideous to me personally.

I had mudflaps on my '70 growing up but that was one of the fads back then. I also spent a lot of time on gravel roads and it helped (somewhat) keep the rocks from flying up onto the lower quarters. No way I'd put them on now though.

I use Magnetic quarter 'patches', made up in the same color to protect the paint now.

I have a quarter inch of mud protecting my lower quarters!
