my omni brand epoxy primer calls for a 2:1 mix. well I read the mixing cup wrong and ended up with a mix of 1:1. I was reading the 2:1:1 scale.
what kind of repercutions am i looking at for this blunder?

With a ratio of more reducer you probably just made a sealer type coat.

I think the question would be was it more reducer or hardner?
Id agree that extra reducer isn't that big of a deal but to much hardner and you could have issues.

I agree if there was to little primer, it just flowed more and not fill as much. Was it a high fill sand able primer to fill imperfections or a sealer? Far as to much hardener, how fast did it dry? More than likely you are fine either way.

You did just the roof?  Remove it.  Don't take the chance.  It's not that time consuming to just start over and do it right.

I agree. To bad you didn't catch it first and add another part of epoxy before you used it.

I just spoke with an experienced painter on the matter and he says all I did was thin the primer and made more of a sealer coat out of it. he says he does this after the body work is done and just before paint is applied so the epoxy lays nice and if painted within a day or two will chemically adhere to the paint. if you wait past the 48hr window of opportunity the epoxy needs to be scuffed a little so the paint mechanically adheres to the epoxy.
