That GTX is a nice car but I think you made the right choice.  Welcome to the group.

I'm very sorry for your loss.  Welcome to the board.  Beautiful car you got there.  4 speeds are rare but you can always stick a manual trans in there if you wanted to.  Anything's reversible in case of a resale.

Plum Crazy 68

My car is my wife's car.  She bought it when she was 15, so there are a few Mopar gals here.

Welcome to the Forum.

I liked the GTX, but nothing on it was original. I asked him why he chose pink, he told me he liked eye catching colors, which is fine, but I asked him what the cars original color was and he didn't know. Even if it was primered when you bought it, if you'd paid any attention to the fender tag or vin number, shouldn't you know the original color of the car? That made me nervous. I wanted a car that was well documented, and built the way it should be built. I didn't mind spending a little extra money to get it. And my dad had a 68 gtx, which is why I'm partial to them, so my charger looks similar to his old car.

Don't know how big the image is... but here's the car.

Very nice 68,  :2thumbs: was the previous owner on this site? the plate looks familiar.
Me and Bakerhillpins spent some time drooling over that car (sorry about the drool marks). We also wondered about the name on the plate.

I was thinking about it, but we'll see. I'm going to leave her the way she is for now.

I was at Carlisle on Friday and saw that car.  It is a nice one.  You did well, you'll never regret buying it and if you ever decide to part with it you'll never lose money.  Sorry about your husband.
