Harness is used has a couple wires cut and about 6 terminals need to be retermed.Comes with the ignition switch, key and fuse box.I dont know the value on this stuff since I am new to mopars so just thought I would ask.Mine was kind of hacked up which is why I'm looking at this one.....Thankyou...

Ghoste

I wouldn't get a used one personally with the availability of new quality repro harnesses.

no point  getting   it , its ole as in 40 + years old ,  if i was  needing a load of the factory plastic  spade terninal covers , fire wall connector etc prolly pay $10 -$20  , thats the only thing i would be using it for  :Twocents:

Year One is the only place selling the M&H harness which is considered the best/most accurate. Buy when they are on sale though! Sometimes you can find a discount code posted in our Group Buys section. Today's code is " MCCA13" and it's "up to 28% off". Online orders only.

Troy

:sorry:
Classic Industries, as far back as their 2011 catalog, has sold M & H harnesses. I just replaced my engine, backup & forward lamp harnesses on my '71.
They're price is very close to Y.O. and I needed some other things that Y.O. didn't have plus I got in on a free shipping & handling deal which saved me about $31.00.
M & H is totally factory correct and easy to install. The only issue I had was the backup/neutral harness was shorter but just had to reroute it to make it work.

Oh, and the prices on the harnesses wouldn't discount when I was trying to mock up an order from Y.O. and plugged in a code.
Classic, I know, considers the harnesses to be already discounted so their 15-20% sales don't apply but you can get a free shipping deal at times if you spend over $199 which is easy to do.

Is that 250 with some gold or is the wire setup gold plated?

smart move, the wires are not like an major important item to have original like an engine or body etc.

Perhaps something changed? Year One had an "exclusive" license to sell the 68-70 dash harnesses (maybe just the rally dash harness?). Other places do sell M&H products but they can't get the entire catalog. I just check Classic Industries site and they list the Charger under dash harness for $510. I think the YO 30% off brings it down to about $425 though. Actually, just checked YO and couldn't find it listed. Odd.

I imagine YO is selling them to them at a reduced price in exchange for something else.  They had a similar deal with the Paddock, remember?

I'm looking for the same dash harness as well at this time.
Is it safe to order this at y.o. now?

Did you actually punch in a code and get an updated price w/YO?
When I tried back in March/April and I put in a current discount code then hit update and the prices wouldn't change so I assumed the discount didn't apply cause I had spoke to Classic and was told their % off didn't apply to harnesses but the free shipping did. Just trying to get correct info out there.

Troy you're right, YearOne still has the "exclusive" license for Mopar. YearOne bought it from Chrysler years ago, this information is from M&H and verified from YearOne. You can buy M&H harnesses anywhere, but they are not the same Plug-n-Play, color coded and length. Any doubters, call M&H, excellent company.

What did I buy then? It was Mopar color coded, identical plug connectors as factory and couldn't be easier to install. Other than the aforementioned backup harness I hung the old & new engine & front light harness from the ceiling and it was identical in every way to the factory ones.
Note in the following pic the part #'s HU231N & HU247B match the listing for my car on M & H's website.

As Ghoste has stated, I also think that if YO has exclusive rights then maybe they are distributing them.

YearOne did sell those to Classic, #'s HU231N & HU247B are YearOne part numbers. #'s MD4515 & MD2489 above those item numbers are re-badged Classic's (distributing them). The only difference I could find is Classic does not have 30% off sales like YearOne. Thanks for bringing this up.

Ok, now that we've established that Classic does sell Mopar M & H harnesses we're on to my other point....the discount. As I said for some reason I couldn't get a code to work last spring for me but I did just do a mock order from YO.
Long story short, #HU247B is discount exempt from YO so my total for the 3 harnesses I bought was $27.12 more from Classic which I said was competitive. This is factoring in the free ship from C.I. and today's discount from YO.
As I said, I got some other parts from Classic that YO didn't offer namely a wiring strap kit, 2 packs of extra connectors, battery matts (cheaper), etc.

I'm just trying to get info out to the peeps on here. Believe me, I spent days this past winter (was recouping from a major surgery) going over alot of websites trying to get the best deal on a load of parts. Moral of the story....don't flat count on a discount. Some items are exempt.

Oh, and if you sign up at CI you'll get emails offers of 15-20% off every week and about once a month free shipping.
Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with Classic Ind. I am just a cheap bastard that'll spend hours on the net to save a buck! The way I figure is I'll then have one more buck to put elsewhere in the car.

Their underdash harnesses  for the '68 w/gauges comes down to $387.74 w/the code. I just checked 6 other part #'s and all are discounted except for some reason the most expensive one I needed. Must be a 3rd gen bias.  :icon_bs:
Even the under dash one for my '71 is discounted so I don't know what the deal is w/the lamp harness. At least if I need a dash harness I'll know where to look.
