hi I've been told that the charger has numbers matching gearbox and diff ,didn't know diffs got numbers where is the Vin number stamped on the Dana 60 housing?

No where. A lot of people say matching diff for some dumb reason - but they were never stamped with a VIN. A Dana does have codes though - including a date code stamped into them.
