I want to resurface my concrete driveway. Good sample video shown here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkl3bY7Z88k
I will be using this concrete patcher to resurface it http://www.homedepot.com/p/t/100350500?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=concrete+patch&storeId=10051&N=5yc1v&R=100350500#.Ub0R7dgguoh
I was wondering what I could use between each concrete section so it wouldn't run into those gaps between each section. Anyone does concrete for living?

Save your money on that stuff.  Call your concrete plant and order concrete with pea gravel in it.  It will be cheaper.  You can also order it with fiberglass in it (cat hair) so that it will hold together longer and be somewhat stronger.  Ordering it this way will be less labor intensive.  If you have someone with concrete tools, it'll be even better.

On another note, what is the condition of your current driveway?  If yours is busted up, it will be better to replace it.  Your overlay will crack everywhere your current drive has cracked already.  Use a non shrinking grout to fill in your existing cracks to minimize the possibilities of this from happening though if you just have a few cracks..

I've poured plenty of concrete, and what you're wanting to do is nothing new to me.  Are you going to imprint it to make it look like stone, or just give it a regular finish? :popcrn:

Also thought I'd point out this calculator.  It'll tell you how many yards and how many bags of concrete you need.

It has couple cracks here and there, one corner has crack where soil has settles so it's cracked and is laying lower than the rest of the driveway. Also has pitting all over it. I just want to find something that I can put in between each section so the resurfacer doesn't get into those spots.
