Hi,

The only thing I see for Orange and Pink wiring on my diagrams are 18 gauge.

Thanks guys. It's the wire that runs from the fuse box to the headlight dim/dip switch (pink) and the orange one is the one that runs from the pin nearest the voltage regulator on the back of the dash cluster down to the fuse box too. I think my mess up with the soldering that caused the short in the orange wire from the back of the cluster caused the wire to overheat and burn the pink one, which then shorted too. That's all I've found in the harness so far, now that I've removed it from the car.

Thanks,

Ordered 18 gauge, too small. At least 16 gauge if not 14. Debating whether to buy a 16 gauge wire selection off Ebay and replicate the harness myself, or even use either EZ harness or Rebel wiring harness instead of the old faithful Painless. Any thoughts?

Are you paying for the name with Painless, or a demonstrably superior product?
