Bruce, I keep meaning to PM you and see how things are going! But, with the way life gets in the way, well you understand as well as anybody!

Far as the hand, I am doing physical therapy at home and I can see a tad of improvement. While I was at the therapies offices I found out there was a none evacuees (Spell check) to correct the problem I had with injections!  :brickwall: In fact she was shocked when I came in and saw it was done the old way with surgery!  :o Yep, it seems that is how my life goes, one mess up after another!   :shruggy:

On buying the new fuel line, just don't have the money to spare. Right now, it has been Dr bills, and Vet bills new and old ones. Still paying on Shaddy last vet visit and Sparkie ear problem which is now cleared up!  :2thumbs: So that is over with as long as we keep his ears clean!

While I have the funds in savings to buy the fuel lines and have them and the gas tank installed. With BoS hanging over my head I don't dare touch the savings.  :-\ There current advertisement is they something like "We don't want your life to revolve around us" is horse shit!  :RantExplode: They have controlled my life for the last 4 %&^$ years!  :brickwall:

OK, I done with my rant. Maybe Tuesday, I will get her fired up again.

Just to let you folks I have not gave up! Just been a lot of bad timing, health problems, work hours, weather and frigging yard work!  :brickwall: I hate grass that grows!  :icon_smile_angry:

Just had a Knuckle Dagger driving a POS Chevy Van come up to the door, I wonder what he wanted?  :scratchchin: I answered the door and said Let me guess, you want to know if I will sell the Old Road Runner sitting in front of the house that I have owned for 42 years.  :D That sat him back on his heels.

His story is his uncle has seen the car for years while going to local yard sales and has stopped a few times but no one answered the door. His uncle is a real car guy and would like to buy the car. Pooped the hood and the Knuckle Dagger eyes glazed over a bit. Told him what I have for the car and that nothing less than 6 K would even make me think about it!

I also added There is no For Sale Sign on the car.  ;) But if his uncle want to talk have him leave a note of the car and we would talk. But, But I never said it would be about talking about selling Miss Lumpy.

Allen and Jim or anyone else. I do need some help and I can get a weekend off if I know in advances. I just need a little nudge to get off my dead ass!

been doing some work on mine lately. had to get ready for this show friday. new converter in :yesnod:

so we can plan something soon, and get the tank in and see if we can fire that beast up.  maybe if we can plan a day to get several mechanical minds there at the same time, it would go smoother. i can bring some ramps for the tank swap. we will need an electrical guru though. i will bring my wiring book. just find a day we all can agree to. :2thumbs:

Just read through your entire thread Ken. Man oh man. Sounds like you had a year like mine. Amazing you are still hanging in there and going forward with Miss Lumpy. You get that house nonsense behind you and I think it will be clear sailing. Heck with your foot finally healing up , your wife feeling better ,the new job and your new dog I'd say you are really on the upswing. Get those trains packed up and get that Road Runner indoors where you can whittle on her without the weather boggin' you down and we can see some real progress. :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

Steve, she is not forgotten about. Hopefully Jim and Allen will make it by some day. I was free today but it was the weathers turn to wreck my plans. Yesterday was getting things done that needed to be done.

You should have been working on your project and not reading 25 pages of mine!  Love what you are doing!

Bet you folks have thought the Mopar Fire has died again :scratchchin: If you did, Nope you would be wrong! :2thumbs:

Few life up dates!

1Bank OF Stupid finally modified my home loan!  :eek2: While I am totally stunned it happen according to my Lawyer it is wrong? There is a reason I call them BoS  :pullinghair: My lawyer said by using VA HEMPA guide lines my loan should be $746.00 a month. Higher than I hoped, but doable. BoS on the other hand wants $843.46 a month?  :brickwall: Which will leave no Mopar money, or hell   either!  :eek2:

2 Best news this year?  :scratchchin: Allen and Jim are coming by Thursday!  :o While they think they are going to install the gas tank which they might get done. My goal is to change the oil and figure what the heck Miss Lumpy will not start! :brickwall:

3 After she is running again by hot wire. I then want to install the engine harness and hope to get her to run the right way!

4 Hope to install yet another fuel pump. I am sure the current one is on its last leg!

I just checked, and this odyssey started June 2 of 2013? Where does time go?  :scratchchin: Just need a little motivation Jim and Allen and no dam Honey Dues!

Have not gave up again, Cuda Ken!

Jim, garage is still full of train layout.  :shruggy: What can I say, trains run, Road Runner does not.  :D

In reality main thing I did not want to start taking the layout down or taking Miss Lumpy apart till when I had a idea where I would be living in the next few months. Now I feel a little better about things, it is time to get the saws-all out!  :D

I will up date Thursday and hopefully have some good news!

 Little Up date.

Got a later start than I would have liked, but I did work on her. Ran and picked up fresh oil, new coil and fuel pump gasket. When I was say 1/8 of a mile from home, I remember something I forgotten and had to head back to the parts store!  :brickwall:

I got her up into the air and drained what little oil that was still in Miss Lump. For those that may have forgot last year I stripped the oil pan drain plug and used a self tapping one. It never sealed right and was dripping oil) When I reinstalled the self tapping plug I wrapped it with Teflon Tape, so I think it is sealed this time. Added some ZPPD, replaced the filter and topped her off!

By now Allen had showed up and shortly there after Jim got here. We installed the original MSD coil I had (I think the first time Allen showed up and hacked up the wiring to hot wire her the key may not have been in the on position so coil may have been good I was pretty shit faces by the time Allen got here!)   :brickwall:  :shruggy:

We installed the old MSD and cranked her, nothing. :'( So we installed the new Accel coil and let her ripe!  :icon_smile_big: Nothing again!  :o I won't go into trouble shooting details in this post but will in the Engine section. Allen, Jim and I where stumped!   :scratchchin:

Well, the main reason they came over was to get the new gas tank in. So what the heck! Got Miss Lumpy up in the air and Allen started wrenching. As I thought, the bolts, hangers and straps where in pretty good shape.  :2thumbs: If we had a longer socket it would have came right out! Filler neck was a small problem, but not that bad.

By then it started to sprinkle and the forecast is for bad storms. Allen and Jim decided it was time to packing things up and head home. Personally I think they where bummed Miss Lumpy would not start!

So recap.
1 Old gas tank is out and the gas in it looks like Root Beer
2 Miss lumpy has fresh oil
3 Spent $70.00 on oil and coil I really could not afford and still won't RUN!  :RantExplode:

Oh well, I will figure this out!

Ken, confused again!

PS, Allen and Jim swear they will be back over sometime next Year!  :slap:

I am 95 sure I have found the problem with her not starting!

Look at the Red Wire! The picture is twice the sizes of the Distributor and I only noticed how bad the wire look last week when I posted it in the engine section.

I pulled the Distributor today and with some luck I may have it rewired this week. I all so plan on pulling it all the way down and make sure the arms and springs still work.

On a side note, I finally started working out with weights. I hope this will boost my energy level so I feel like working on Miss Lumpy, do the yard work and work on the house.

Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....
