We have a mopar bone yard here called the Car Farm and he has a few Chargers out there. As far as I know AMD is going to be my new bestest buddy!
I can throw about a 100 dollar bill at it once a week so things should move decently fast.

But do have experience in body work
My fiance wants me to let ya'll know that when it is done. Were gettin hitched!!!!  :slap:

Fix the car first when you get it, then get married.

Congrats on the nuptials.  Hope it's a long lasting marriage.

If I had that deadline, I would take about 10 years to finish the car.

My 70 R/T was about the same shape. I have bought close to 10k ALONE in metal. AMD and rust free stuff. Had extremely good rates on the metal work from my brothers shop. My $5k project car i have over $20k in it with the new interior and all the metal work done and it has been 5 years. I will have around $35k in it, but will be better than new.

Like mentioned before lots of 1 year only parts on the 70. No front clip in repro is a killer. Doing it again I probably would have got a 68-9 just for the ease of restoration parts.

If I had to pay out $50 plus an hour I'd have lost my shirt long ago.

$10k project car that is solid will save you lots in the end over a rusty $5k project.

I hear ya on that charger_fan_4ever. I'm going to see how those two 68's look. But most likely i will convert to a 69. Most problems i have seen on a 2nd gen Charger is the rear quarters and trunk pan so if i have to replace might as well go with 69.

Pass on the '70...................unless you are looking for a "major" project (major = lots of time and big money)  Look for something that's at least complete, if possible.   :Twocents:
1970 Daytona Charger SE "clone" (440/Auto)
1967 Charger (360,6-pak/Auto)
2008 Challenger SRT8 BLK (6.1/Auto) 6050 of 6400
