So it funny how i log on and the first thing i see is how to roll a car....... Let me start, I had just posted my truck for sale. I have had it for 8 years and im the 3rd owner. I love this truck but since I had twins I need a crew cab so I had to part with her. In my posting I said if you dont have money dont bother and luckly i did. Had a kid call me very interested hes abt 22 proved he had money so its all good right? Well........ we went on the test drive I drove first showing how it really preformed and told him not to use the chip until he owns its. so parked it and handed him the keys. The irony here is while he was driving I informed him and this is true he is the 3rd person to EVER drive my truck since ive owned it and it scares and that its my baby to be careful.....well while going around a corner we did fine then he decides to stomp on the pedal a little and well.....

Heres the after math. The driver front leaf springs broke at the bottom and the pin the holdsem sheared. It caused the transfercase to break in half and you can see the rest.    Yes he did buy it!!! and full price!!!

Maybe Im foolish for this but I am helping him get it fixed, finding parts and having him send it to the local shop that painted it in the first place. the cab is damage so it could be straightened but i think it will either need the cab replaced or the roof cut and replaced. btw we were driving the opposite way. I just want to she her back to her former glory and maybe he will respect that kind of power.

you wouldnt have made it out of the truck in that case   :smilielol: My friends and family are surprised he did and that was only because he said he was paying full price before we got out  :D

Glad to hear it worked out in your favor :2thumbs:  He could have been an ass and not bought the truck and then sued you over some injury. :icon_smile_angry:  I'm glad to hear that didn't happen.  There needs to be more people like this guy

Have you found a crew cab yet? :popcrn:

Wait a minute - the leaf springs and the front eye bushing bolts BROKE?  Just from hitting the edge of the pavement and laying it over on its side like that?

The ground is extremely soft from rainning so much then add in him standing on the brakes caused the tire to dig a pocket into the ditch instantly stopping the truck, all the momentum shifted forward breaking the tire that dug in first causing the suspension to break, making the truck twist into the ditch. So then the momentum shifted to the one side causing it to turn over.

Do you have the cash?

Not for nothing but I bet he'd say anything to get out out of that truck in one piece.

You bet they'd say anything to get out of whatever mishap they caused. I've experienced it first hand. (Not with a car though thank god)

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

Did you have to pull the glow plugs out and purge oil out of the cylinders ?
