OnStar can sell your data to insurers and cops, even if you aren't subscribing

Interesting article I just found from 2011... Looks like GM is in the 'sell personal info' business.  The bad part is even after you subscribe, unless you purposely ask them to shut off the radio, they leave it on and collect this data.

Yet another reason to own and maintain an older car.   This just took GM off the list for me.
