Look at what just showed up at the house.....

1. My friend's awesome '70 Superbee. Helping out keeping the car here while the family's in transition to another house. Also, has electrical issues. Have a box of brand new harnesses, replacing them all !!! So, when I'm at a "stand-by" status with Hoss' '71 Challenger R/T, I'll mess with this.

2. Tucked away.. My how my garage has gotten colorful..

3. Diagnoses begins.. Can't help myself trying to fix something that's not right. I've discovered a bad fusible link connection at the bulkhead, melted plastic. It got real hot. Now, to try and figure out why that happened...... My gut says ignition switch....

4. Clues...

Id check the bulkhead terminals ignition switch connection Ammeter and fusebox connection .All the usuall suspects. And any point that carries 12 volt power pinched or chaffing wiring . A Dead short should pop the blue fusible link ..Loose connection corrosion on terminal etc .Creates resistance melts bulkhead plastic and the wiring insulation
