Yup, grass is green, cleaned the yard...went to get some propane, the off to then grocery store to get some cowboy steaks  :drool5:! Everything was planned, good to go for the next day...even invited a lady friend over... :icon_smile_big:

Then,  this happened!!!

:'(  It was 28c (82 f) the day before!!! Damnit! :flame:

Looks like the driver of a powdered sugar truck crashed in your neighborhood.  Get you a pot of hot grease and some pancake mix and make some funnel cakes :2thumbs:

Ram07

really wanted steaks on the bbq tho... :-\

Tilar

Bah, where's your sense of adventure! Grab a T-shirt and shorts and go get that grille cleaned off and fired up! Then when the steaks are done your lady friend can help get you warmed up again.  :yesnod:

Dave

God must love stupid people; He made so many.

JB400

Grab a snow shovel, clear out the area in front of your door, move the grill in front of door, light up and have some fun. :2thumbs:  All you have to do is stand inside, and still cook on the barbeque

Ram07

Well yes, can do that....used it all winter...was just hoping for a meal outside...ya know...patio set, little fire going on, stuff like that!

I am in Ontario and when I got up this morning my back deck was white with snow also but as soon as the sun came out it is all gone

I'm up North....it's melting...a little..it's 1c right now....couple more days to go before its gone again!

Those pics are a couple hours old!

JB400

Build you an igloo around your patio set, build a small fire, and enjoy.

Ram07

 :scratchchin: the snow is sticky!

Isn't checking the weather part of making plans, or do we just skip that part?

Chryco Psycho

Normal where I was living , a couple of years ago the weather reporter said it had snowed on the may long weekend 13out of the last 15 years , winter doesn't end until June at best

Bob T

I think you will have to burn the snowman in effigy to appease the Sun Gods , probly need some Mayan type feather head dress and a loincloth, maybe your good lady can help with that

who makes plans, a BBQ is a spur of the moment thing.unless of course you've been snowbound for the last 3 months and its all you've been thinking of :icon_smile_big:

I would agree.  Not too many plan one, they just have one.

Fred

I plan mine. How else am I going to have anything other than snags on it otherwise. Good food takes some planning and forethought.   :drool5:

you want more than snags? :shruggy:

Fred

You bet I do. Like a juicy T/bone or scotch fillet. Something I can sink what's left of my teeth into!      :drool5:    :icon_smile_big:
