Detail help

So I haven't driven my 69 RT in almost a year, body shop, new quarter, tail panel, valance and some other stuff. Today it got jammed. Should have paint next week. I need some help. I'm going to paint the RT stripe, is it flat or glossy ? Same with the tail panel and the hood inserts (looks like flat in all the pics) ?
Is there supposed to be trim around tail panel or is that an option ?
I'm sure I'm missing some details so if you guys could help please .

Rename all the pictures something random like "doggybiscuit" 1 2 3 etc. that should help

The R/T tail panel stripe was a gloss decal, not paint. If you are going to paint it then anything goes, but originally they were gloss tape stripes.

The tail panel was a textured semi-flat organisol paint. You can buy this paint today from several resto suppliers. Or, you can duplicate it using semi-flat paint held just a little further away from the surface to get the desired texture. If you're not concerned about the texture then just spray away. It is not full gloss or full flat, but in between.

The hood inserts should also be a decal, they are available reproduction and are inexpensive.

Yes, you should have trim around the tail panel.

The two end "L" moldings are chrome plated pot metal, you can either find used examples or they are available reproduction.

The upper straight piece is stainless steel, and not being reproduced to my knowledge.

Ok, decals. Do you clear over the decal or put them on after?

Tail stripe decals go on after.
