hi fellas quick question.   i replaced my plugs last fall  ( 6 months ago)  and  they look like this now  . could it be they end up like this cause of the short start up, and  idles i do over the winter ( 10 min roughly) cause this. they are the ngk xr5.  she started sputtering this week and idles up and down at times   .   .its a stock 440.  all 8 look the same  by the way    .  thanks

I assume it has a choke on it , running it for short periods with the choke on will foul the plugs very quickly , I typically have more trouble with NGK plugs misfiring once they are fouled up too .

I guess they just dont get hot enough ,and they just dont burn off .        Thanks  :2thumbs:

Mine actually did the same thing, till i started driving the car. use to start it up from time to time, before i put it on the road, and fouled a brand new set of Autolites
