Well folks,

I picked up my first Charger this weekend. I bought the car a few months ago but it remained in storage with the seller until now. It's a restored, numbers matching, white '70 Charger R/T 440, Auto, Console, AC, PS, PB. It has a green interior, vinyl buckets, green bumblebee stripe and green hood callouts. The six pack intake and carbs were added during the restoration. Although a huge Charger fan for the past fifteen years, I have not been in a financial position to buy one until now. I bought a restored Charger because I do not have the skills, knowledge, tools, shop, time or money to restore anything myself. I envy people who can do it themselves but the better option for me was to buy restored. I have been reading posts for over a year now and have already learned a lot. It helped me with the confidence to make the purchase by being informed. There aren't too many people my age with these cars in my area, so I'm hoping to pick up some knowledge on this site. The people on here seem pretty helpful and knowledgable.

Had a couple of runs this weekend. The weather was great. The first nice days here on the rock. Well, I won't keep rambling, I'll leave you with a few pictures.

Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

I am somewhat partial to the 1970 model.
That color and stripe combo is really unique. I can't recall ever seeing hood callouts in any color other than black.
Care to divulge the sales price?
