74 Challenger dash removal

 Do you have to pull the windshield out to remove the complete dash  in a Challenger ?

    Hey Barry, good N you?  I have sons Challenger here for a quarter and a rocker and one thing lead to another and rust repair turned into a restomod and  have to sandblast some of the inside also.  The 69 stocker comes next but I am going to keep it streetable.  Hey, PM me your email address and I can send you a few pix.

E-body should be the same as 71-74 B-body.

Remove interior "A" pillar trim.

Remove trim panel on top of dash to access mounting bolts.

Remove bolts.

Under dash on each side above the kick panel is a bolt.

Loosen these bolts.

Roll dash toward you.

Unhook wiring, speedo cable, etc.

Remove the two bolts above the kick panels.

Lift dash out.

Windshield stays in place. :Twocents:

No, I removed mine out of a 70 without any problems. Took 4 hrs, but that was 20 yrs ago.
