Doesn't look like any Grand National Superbird I've ever seen off the top of my head............ It's a paint-job on a Production Street version..

The console WAS the option..

I THINK you would have gotten the buddy seat without the C16 code. I BELIEVE you would have to request the buddy seat be deleted, no? Someone correct me if I'm incorrect.....

the hood and decklid aren't blue!  I LOVE the McCluskey car!

OK well now that you mention it there's a lot wrong, like there are a few more than two white/white cars.  And obviously that's not a USAC car.  and the road wheels shouldn't be chromed.  and the ballast resistor is aftermarket.  and...

As per the first link the article states it was simply OWNED by McCluskey not RACED by him...

...and Superbird. The latter, adorned with a cartoon Roadrunner on the door panel, was once owned by racer Roger McCluskey

Buckets,no console.

Roger's race car interior was not quite as cushy as Bill's above.

Roger smoked like a chimney.    Big C is what did him in.

I bought a photo of him at the Milwaukee meet with him smoking going down the back stretch of the 'mile.  I will never be that manly.

Yes, that is a great photo.   Gerry Kulwicki (Alan's dad) would have lit C-stick ready for him when he pitted.

This is Roger's Boss, Norm Nelson, also with a lit tar stick.     The sign on the outer wall says NO SMOKING IN PITS - POLICE ORDERS

I got one of those handles in my 500 and between a pistol grip and that shifter handle I like that one better.
