Yes can do - on the scoops.

As per stress cracks - yup no worry there . 063 is 14 gauge.
I am building a aluminum Daytona nose cone for a customer in WA state now, will post pics when done.

that is what i really need also , I wish someone could / would send don a set of fiberglass
re pop scoops to make them in metal      if i had a set i would

Why aluminum rather than steel?  When you get to painting them I would think the steel would be more forgiving long term.
