hey
   i always painted my blocks with a rattle can but the paint job got old looking real quick . i was watching a show on tv . they said that ppg  makes hemi orange that i can spray with a gun that will last . does anyone know where i can get spray able hemi orange . it doesn't have to be ppg . i just want it to last and look good . :cheers:

i painted engine using dp40 primer and a good single stage paint and it held up real well. looked new 6 years later. but the surface prep is the hard part. I used many many cans of brake cleaner to get the rags coming up clean.

A rebuilt/built engine will never look as good as it did a couple days after you installed it.
