Pricing new rear window trim I came across these guys from a link over at 70 Charger Registry.    http://restorationpartssource.com/   They had lower cost at 92.00 for the 6 piece set, shipping was only 15.50 from Cal. to Fl. and looking around I found many other things with much better prices.  :2thumbs:
I've ordered and will report back. b5

I bought some 1961 Impala trim from him several years ago, he was very good to deal with. I will use him again.

My "Trim Parts" interior rear window arrived today. One corner and the lower trim section are bent. I called Trim Parts and they told me to contact RPS. Tony is asking them to send an entire new set for me. One edge of the box is crumpled some, just bad luck the parts may have been in this corner, here are pics.  :scratchchin:

I recently spoke with the owner of RPS about a part. Prolly yacked for 30 mikes and he seems like he'll be a good guy to do business with. Hope so.

That's a pretty good deal.  If they send you a new kit will they add a shipping label to return the damaged trim?  If so, they're going on my two thumbs up list.   :yesnod:

That would be a problem for the next couple of days if not more, it's all thunderstorms here right now.

Got the 68 out and drove her around and she had some heat issues could be not a real reading since I'm going off stock gauges claimed 240 temp on a 383 but I opened up the rad cap and no pressure sizzle and I could dip my finger inside the liquid it was warm but not 240 warm.  I shifted in her gears to freshen her up....she sounded great for a long time ignoring since I'm chasing something else.....

The stock gauges are nothing to rely on unfortunately.  Mine reads 170 and for a 440 that's a bit too low.

Tony said a new set of trim left Trim Parts Wednesday heading for my house.  :2thumbs:

I got a set from Classic Industries and noticed a piece missing.   I took it back the next day (20 miles from me) and they exchanged it, checked it before I left, and gave me a big discount for the inconvenience....     Nice to know good companies are still out there.

My new replacement trim came in today!  :2thumbs: Tony said no worries about returning the damaged set, just do what you want with it.  :2thumbs: :2thumbs:
The packing list shows "UPS damaged replacement" no billing.
