I have a 69 Charger with a 318 and factory A/C. Would anyone have a picture of the proper routing for the A/C compresser belt? The compresser has a single pulley. There is one "wheel" so to speak to the right of compresser that has no groove in it for a V belt so I am thinking the top part of the belt would go against it. Thanks

it should be dual belt/pulley for compressor

A single-groove pulley with an idler inboard of it doesn't sound "factory" unless it's a factory add-on.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I have a '68 small block compressor out in the garage. It also has a single pulley. I believe the idler on it is grooved.

Pete in NH

Hi,

I have a diagram in a 69 Plymouth shop manual that shows a single belt drive set up for the A/C on a 318 with factory air. It shows a single belt on the RV-2 compressor with an idler pulley on the left of the compressor. There is a roller to the right of the compressor, and yes, the belt top surface rides on the top left side of the roller.

Yes it's factory air with a single pulley. Thanks for all the input. Pete in NH nailed it. She running cool!! Thanks!!
