No Power Tour for me this year.  Doing something a bit bigger.

Route 66 to Los Angeles, the PCH up to San Fransisco and then the Lincoln Highway back to Chicago.

I've talked to you guys at shows and over the web.  Some have commented that they might want to come with.  Either doing the whole thing or just bits.  Anyone is welcome.  Just let me know!

Good luck on this trip Ryan-I wish I could go-we have been wanting to drive the Superbird on a road trip but not going to happen this year. On a side note were you aware of a 2nd Lincoln Highway tour this year. http://www.lh2013.com/index-1.html

We sold Henning (organizer) the DeSoto pace car that he is using to lead that tour. I discussed it on this board a cou;ple of years ago I think.

In either event, good luck, have fun, take pictures and then report!

Thanks

I had heard about a few different Lincoln Highway cruises this year for the 100th Anniversary.  That's cool that they have a nice group going with a sweet car.

Anyone is welcome to join us.  Why wait!

Should be getting into LA by Friday the 27th.

I'll post as I go, so to give you a better idea.  We're going to do the Big Boy Cruise Friday night and the Cars N' Coffee on Saturday.  Probably Peterson Museum on Sat or Sunday.

When you get into town, I know of a cuda that's been sitting under a tarp way off the road for about 10 years at least. We should go check it out!

Ryan, heard your journey stopped short.  Not sure if this is true or not, but if it is, sorry to hear.

It did.

Unfortunately my Grandmother's cancer decided to hit overdrive a little over 1/3 of the way into the trip.  So I got to Williams, AZ, then Cannonballed back to Chicago (not the original plan).  But I got back here just in time.

Thanks for asking.
