People who confuse 'legal' and 'moral' are idiots.   I go out of my way to avoid people who live strictly by the rules.   They're easy to spot:  Boring-ass busy bodies who judge everyone around them.

Could not have said it better! Judgemental people are that way to hide their insecurities. Makes them feel better about their lifes, selfs.

You mean like those kids that are trying to push legalizing drugs to those that think there need to be boundries? I'm sure that's what you mean.

I think there is something else in the rum/coke today :scratchchin:

rick@laysons

The strain of hemp used to make rope and fiber with is NOT the same that is used to get high with.

My grandpa used to raise hemp during WWII under contract from the government. The gov't paid a LOT of farmers to do that since fiber was in short supply during the wartime. That's why all the wild stuff grows in the ditches in the midwest.

Non THC hemp is also a very good source of bio-fuel as well.

Edumacation is a good thing eh? :2thumbs:

I understand what you're saying but what I'm saying is that most (99.999%) of the ones trying to make it legal are the ones that have no intentions on making ropes, clothing, bio-fuel or anything other than getting high.    :scratchchin:  Maybe 98%.    :nana:   It's possible that 2 out of every 100 really need it for cancer.   Possible but not probable.   Just like me saying I like my rum because it can be used as cleaner.    ::)

OH YEA,,this dope is real bad stuff you dont want to mess around with that stuff it will ruin you....LOL is this middle school?? The real joke is people that take a false stance against something they have limited knowledge on.
Who's to say getting high doesnt clear your head more then "education". Just because you dont have cancer doesnt mean it cant be benificail even in a recreational sence. REAL education is having the knowledge that nothing is set in stone and the people with the anti agendas only prove their own ignorance of the subject. Pretending to be an authority on a subject thats relitive on a person to person scale. Talking about education, Anybody that knowns anything about the issue will know what the real deal is.
Using Potheads as a bad example of the potentail of mary jane is jaded and bias as it comes.
Not that Im some huge backer for the tokers cause but I mean this is just basic stuff here. Its 2013

I am going to reply to something I know almost nothing about. (like that's a first) I have never used crack, heroin, meth or any of the drugs I hear about in the news, so I don,t know directly how they would enhance my life. Most of these drugs are reported to be very addictive, and that's a road I chose to not go down. It all is about choices. I would chose to not increase the payrolls of the Police, Prosecutors and Prison Guards incarserating drug users. I would chose to not make millionairs out of criminal growers and distributors. I would wonder if you tried to legalize these drugs who would stand to lose the most money and oppose you.
If legal ,the government could tax drugs heavily and generate revenue. If your drug use causes you medical problems and you have private insurance ,that is between you and your insurance company. If you use drugs and are on the dole and have taxpayer funded insurance and the drugs cause medical problems you will be suplied a bottle of aspirin at taxpayer expense and we wish you good luck.
Everyone gets to make choices.   :Twocents:

crack heroin meth etc ?  :eek2:   are manufactured using harsh chemicals etc  are highly addictive and have severe health issues associated with them.dope is grown dried  smoked  all natural  :2thumbs:

Like smoking is natural.  Tree bark is "ALL NATURAL" but you don't see everybody smoking it.  Our bodies (lungs) aren't designed to smoke.   Even a "all natural" substance.   :smilielol:

Then again I will say cigarettes are worse than marijuana far as the physical damage goes.   I'll give you that.   Marijuana is what it is and not loaded up with chemicals like cigarettes are.

Now I gotta add something to this subject. My county is filled with grow patches (foothills of the Sierra Nevada). When the lawmen raid, the patches are highly contaminated, approaching EPA level site status.

I hope you are aware that there is plenty of the real world's "all natural" in that weed, and it includes polluted water, bear feces, deer pellets, dead raccoons, and lots of urine. Not to mention plenty of man-made chemicals. Usually from the closely associated meth lab.

The 420 folks would have the world believe that dope is always organic; pure; grown by kindly wood nymphs and lovingly harvested by virgins, all done with only your health in mind.

Factually, 50 to 75% of weed is more contaminated that tobacco. If you are going to smoke it you really ought to grow it yourself, so you know what "organics" are actually deployed. The stuff coming out of the forests is anything but clean and pure. And factory grown in the urban zones isn't much cleaner or pure.

Grow your own if you want it to be safe (ie natural).

If that were possible they would have been doing that all along, and if they try that route I'll bet pot will go back to the old nickle and dime bags and sold in the alley way and not in a pharmacy with taxes. Back to square one.  :Twocents:

the studies that I have read say that marij, actually is far more dangerous, ie causes cancer, than tobacco. over here we have probably less users than what you have in the states, but the few ppl that i know who use it, definitely have suffered from it, so i cant think that its harmless even if it was legal.

polywideblock

there are as many studies that say its less harmfull. just depends on were and what your looking for, if you type in harmful effects that's what it tells you about try typing benefits
