Here I am sitting on my ass since November like a mole in the ground waiting for a decent day so I can work on a car without freezing my nutz off in the crappy weather of Northern IL.  I am soooooooooooo sick and tired of living in this crappy weather, expensive, f'ing screwed up state ran by morans, and I'm stuck!  Wife won't move due to family, I have a house that would sell for $40k less than what I bought it 11 years ago, and I have to give so much of my freak'in money to this crap hole of a "entitlement" state of IL.  Other than this, life is good.

The only thing that keeps my head up, outside of my family, is enjoying the cars that I worked my ass off to afford and have.

Ok, I'm done.  SORRY.

There is a ground hog in Pennsylvania that needs a little adjustment.... :smilielol:

I pretty sure good old Phil died of a self inflicted gun shot wound the other day, for predicting an early spring.  :smilielol:

Good ole groundhog Phil...my first day of Spring in Upper Michigan awoke to "Winter Storm Warning in effect". We ended up with 5-9 inches of snow(no way to be sure as a "brisk" 30mph wind blew it all over the place). Turned my normal 8 hour day in the truck into a 12 hour ordeal that ended with the truck buried in my yard and a couple more hours in the tractor digging it out and clearing a parking spot for it so I could start fresh at 4:30 this morning. I'm not and never have been sure why "they" refer to the area where I live as God's Country  Last years early break up is nothing more than a good memory and I'm pretty sure this year the Charger's will not be on the road until May(hopefully).

Five days of snow here.

The only chuckle I've gotten this week, was last night's news report where they had a   WANTED, DEAD OR ALIVE poster of Wireton Willie, one of the ground hogs that predicted an early spring.

The ONLY positive aspect is it's light out at 7:00.

The 10 day forecast is saying in 8 days it will be 45.   I bet in 4 days it goes down to mid 30's.... :flame:

Last year northern Indiana was in the 80's for a week already.  This weekend they are calling for a snowstorm to move through Sunday.

I am not only ready to get the car out, and I ready to get the motorhome out as well.

We are getting the same thing here in Kansas. Another week of snow and rain...That's okay, we have been in drought conditions for the past 3 years and we need it. Snow or rain, I'll take it all.  Half of the lakes in KS, OK and Texas have dried up too.
Look at the bright side, Beef prices won't be as much this year. Hopefully.

This is why I love the southwest.   2 to 3 inches of annal rainfall.   Most of you guys can get more rain in a good storm over a weekend than we get all year round.   This climate = car fun all year long.   Out of 365 days a year I think we average 360 days of sun.    :scratchchin:   Maybe....    :nana:

That would be nice.

If the wife was open to move, I would look at Denver or Phoenix area.

Outside of my kids, I like to spend my time on the metal in my garage.  BUT, I was a dumbass when I bought this house because the garage SUCKS.  I've been to the building department in my town so many times and each time "Mike you can't do that" to expand the garage, or add something in the small backyard I have.  I'm screwed........ :brickwall:
