old school question sun tach

  does anyone know how to hook up one of these??    It's got 4 wires  one wire is marked T  next one is an L  third one is B  forth one has a G on each side of the wire    it's a sun super tach 2          thanks   Ken ???

g=ground
t=tach to coil
b=battery to switched 12 v
L=light

normally the red wire is battery, the black wire is ground, the white wire is light, and the green wire is tach to coil.

Almost as important is the old school mounting for a Sun tach.  You may either use a hose clamp to attach it to the steering column or screw it to the top of the dash.  I'm pretty sure this was right in the instruction sheet and you are not allowed to deviate from either of these methods without voiding the warranty.  ;)

I have that same tach, came with the parts car. They had it mounted to the center console (warranty void). I am thinking of using until I get a tach for the ralleye dash.

I put it on the steering column with a hose clamp  today   wouldn't have it any other way     thanks again    Ken :cheers:
