DAY CLONA

Excellent execution, much better than some other interpretations that have been posted. Impressive craftsmanship.  :2thumbs:

I agree, nicely done, some things could have been done differently depending on one's taste, but this is the kind of project, that for most...fails, however the builder(s) pulled it off rather nicely......something the "factory" could and should have done.

Car looks  :drool5: :drool5: :drool5:  Considering the attitude of the car, I think the taillights should have been different.  The stock 68's don't really cut it in my book.  Maybe if he'd frenched them in or went with a modified (smaller) Vette lenses. Newer challenger taillights would have looked good as well. :scratchchin:

Photoshop or not, I am loving it.  :drool5:

I agree. This might be the best retro restyled Challenger I've seen  :2thumbs:  I'd like to see chrome bumpers and more tastefull graphics, but the project looks very well done! :drool5:

what is involved involves tremendous effort on owners part.  Bravo to him.....  :2thumbs:

No offense to the '70 guys, but the '70 wrap around grill has never been my thing.  But... the '70 fits best with this particular interpretation.  The 68 and 69 would have looked out of place with the modern shape and compactness of this thing.  The 70 can be made to look more modern...No broken lines on that bumper so when it's painted smooth it blends into the lines of the car better.  throw some Krylon on a contoured 68 or 69 bumper and it just looks like someone forgot their wallet when they went to the chrome shop

68/69 grill could have been made to work just like the Challenger was done.  And a newer Challenger bumper would have looked alright as well with either grill.  I would like to see the 70 grill dropped down a little bit.  There's a little bit to much room under the bumper as it is, but overall the car looks :drool5:
