I bought a non A/C heater box at Carlisle for my 68 Charger. Turns out it's for a 70 Charger. Are they interchangeable? I noticed that the mounting bolts are in a different location.

66-70 should be interchangeable....either you got an "A" body one, or an AC one

And in 70 you can't forget the E-body.  :icon_smile_wink:

Wow, thanks for the quick replies. Upon further review this is for a A- Body 1970. That would help explain why the mounting bolt locations are different from what I see when looking at pics of 68 Charger non-A/C firewalls.
Another question. I'm assuming the rebuild kit I bought for a 68 will work on this one. Also will the cable control set up I bought at Carlisle (different vendor) work with this box??

probably not...the "A" body & "B" body boxes are different

Just talked with Brian from Mr. Heater Box (great guy). He said the A body unit won't work.
