You mean I can do all the wheelies I want?  I might rethink my viewpoint and settle for the moon.
Of course that would mean that Alaskan TA will no longer be able to take pics of it. I'll be sending up so much dust.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

Looks like the ZL-1 Comparo and the Shelby GT500 are going to have company sometime soon.   :2thumbs:

Never say never,  I didn't think i'd ever spend close to 40k on a new car either, but ended up getting one of the new challenger r/t's which was stickered at just under 40k.

The new Cuda will be the 6.2L supercharged SRT8, and has pretty much been given the go ahead for production, we just don't know for sure what the body will look like exactly.  It could look just like the current challenger, but with a 71 style split grille, or it could have the slab sides like the old cuda had, or it could be the smaller newly designed car.  All i can say is that unless it is one very smart looking car, i won't be giving up my 2010 RT for a new one, even though i like the idea of getting a supercharged from the factory big block.
69 RT/SE Y3 cream yellow w/tan vinyl top and black r/t stripe. non matching 440/375, 3:23, Column shift auto w/buddy seat, tan interior, am/fm w/fr to back fade, Now wears 17" magnum 500 rims and Nitto tires. Fresh repaint, new interior, new wheels and tires.

:drool5: :drool5: :drool5: beautiful car!

thanks,  have to admit i love driving the new challenger.  Its great to have similar looks to the old days with a current drivetrain, steering and brakes of the new generation.  And yes, its just as fast in the quarter as its old namesakes and musclecars of the 60s, and mine isn't even an srt8, I could have bought either one, but the 6.1L in the srt8 in 2010 wasn't enough to justify the extra 4k in cost, but if it had the 392 in it, i would have gone ahead and got the big brother. But i've done a bit on mine to make it unique and really don't want to start over on a new car so i guess i'll keep what i have.  (tan leather interior with embroidery in the seats, pistol grip shifter, woodgrain dash, custom engine cover, srt8 spoiler with back up camera etc.)

tan leather interior with embroidery in the seats,

I'd love to see that if you got a pic.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Lord Warlock

of course i have pics :). ALL challengers come with a black interior, except the special release 392's that had white seats, personally i don't care for an all black interior, my charger had tan seats and a woodgrain dash so i tried to copy that into the new car as well, and it turned out pretty nice.  The TA hood was bought with mopar bucks when i ordered the car the hood originally wasn't functional, but mine is totally functional with a cai that mates up to the underhood airbox from the mopar10 package.  The Detonator Yellow was called a special edition package when it came out, when in actuality it was just another spring special package like the b5 blue offering, but i had R/T special edition embroidered in the seats.

Oh I understand.  I have tan leather in my daily as well.  I was all set to change my Charger interior to saddle but then decided against it.

too bad it isn't like this one from Mr Norm's Grand Spaulding Dodge

Allpar is reporting that Chrysler will be producing a rwd version of the Avenger in 2014.  It might get a name change, but still keep its 4 doors.  They also claim that there will be a 2 door version as well.  Is this car the future Barracuda?  Time will tell. :2thumbs:

It's also getting a bigger Hemi. :drool5: 6.2 Liters and an 8sp trans.

I bought this Challenger 2 months ago but I returned it the next day. (carmax) $28990. every option checked off.

For the afternoon that I had it, it returned all the thrills of back when I was in high school, when I had my 1st Charger.

I'll wait for the Cuda, then see what turns me on more.

Just curious how you were able to return it the next day?  What kind of price drop did you take a hit on when they gave you your money back?
