so i have the BB 727 torque flight for my 73 charger(440).  a few months ago i sealed up the trans. (best i could) and sandblasted the housing. well some sand got inside it. not alot but enough to concern me. the trans wasnt installed and still isnt. so my question is, is there any way i can flush it out? since it hasnt been ran through or anything can i flush it out best i can, then run it.. then flush it out 1-2 times more? please lemme know, thanks!

Cleanliness is paramount in an automatic transmission in my opinion.  I am no expert and there are plenty on the forum who are and they may have a different opinion but if it were mine, I would take it down and have it cleaned and rebuilt.

If the case is REALLY corroded/stained, I NEVER use Sand...Use something like Soda. I reccomends a tear down and flush out with Brake cleaner.
