Wow, the paint work on that Javelin is outstanding. I'd hate to think what it cost.

Those 71 Javelins always looked sooo much longer  than other ponycars to me.  They may not be, but they looked like it to me.

I agree, but it's an optical illusion! The difference is exactly one inch (Javelin over Camaro). Wheelbase 108 v. 109, total length 188 v. 189. Shows what the designers can do with metal and chrome.
