An E-body fastback

I guess this is one of the things you think about when you are staring out your office window on a rainy day instead of work, but what if they had done a fastback in the E-body cars to compete against the Mustang offerings?  I can't really picture it myself on the Challenger or Cuda lines but I wonder if they could have pulled off such a look and had it right?

I guess your thinking something like the roofline like the Diamante minus the t tops and have a laid back glass.  That would have been alright.  Especially if they had the laid back seats as well like the 1st gen Charger.  Would it have made the E body as competitive as the Mustang,  maybe.  That gen of Mustang was kinda hefty.  Either way, the E body would still have been discontinued in 74
