First off, who cares what anyone else thinks... Opinions are like a-holes, everyone's got one...

Second.. I don't think you'll get many 'bitches' if that's your approach.."Yo bitch, wanna go for a ride in my new whip?"....  I think you need a smoother approach

Good luck , and you'll learn to ignore the haters....

And the next guy will complain if they're too big.  It's good.  A little bigger would be better but no worries, its good.

I wish that I had a Charger when I was younger. I wanted one BAD but couldn't afford it at minimum wage. I ended up buying a 69 Dart. It was a decent car for a 17 year old, but The desire for a Charger keep simmering.
By the time I was 34 years old, I owned my first home and was engaged to my future wife. I had some money and a boatload more experience with cars. I wanted a 1969 model, but found a great deal on my 70. I paid $1700 for the running, driving car. Now, $28,000 later, it is the car of my dreams.
Sure, $28 K is a load of cash, but the car was built by me the way that I wanted it.
I am happy for you. It is great that you have someone to guide you and provide help with your cars. Best of luck!

How times have changed though because when I was a teen, these things were just used cars so it was a cheap and fun way to get around.

Yeah, and my boy seems to want to "Restore" Fox body Mustangs that are getting more expensive to buy UNHACKED everyday, but when I was coming up, they were just a cheap/fun used vehicle to get around in.

I feel older, the Fox body Mustangs were cheap/new crap when I was coming up. Chargers were cheap/used old cars people were almost giving away, boy how time changes.

And then there was a period when I was in my 20's and still into old cars that people looked down on me and "greaseball"  and "gearhead" were terms of derision.  Now it's all thumbs up (except from the environazis).
