I have a new wiring harness orderd from Evans wiring , I have 2 questions.

1. I purchased a new updated Voltage regulator from Mopar - It has a 2 pin connector on it but both my old regulator and new wiring harness do not have the correct connector to plug into it???

2. Looking at my diagram and comparing my harness I have sitting in front of me . I have:
**** connector with DBL and BK wire - this goes to the ballast resister no problem
**** connector with DBL and DBL* wire - according the diagram the DBL* goes to the regulator and then DBL should run between regulator and ballast.
**** connector with DBL and a light blue with a yellow tracer - not really sure what I am supposed to do with this !!!

confused !!

Thanks

Ok sorry I figured it out.

The DBL with blue/yellow wire - is the same DBL wire from from the  DBL - DBL* connector that will go to my voltage regulator.
I still dont' have the right connector to go into my new electronic regulator. ???

hahaha I am answering all my own questions here.

So the new eletronic regulator I bought is made for the dual field alt.
The wiring harness I have , has all the correct connections for single field setup that I am currently running.

So I if I want to use the new regulator I need to go to a dual field setup.  I have found the diagrams that I need in order to change from single to dual .
