And if there are I'm sure there must be a lot of woman who should not be in Daisy costume, but there must be a few standing beside GL's that can pull it off?

I went to Dukefest in Nashville 6-7 years ago and saw a few.  I have to say it was rather full of the lower end of society.   Some are just a bit tooooo serious about that confederate flag.    :rotz:

I went to that Nashville show.  They say there were 80,000 there.  I don't know if I believe that but there were a whole lot of people.  Lots of kids with their parents.  It was very poorly organized.   I don't recall seeing anyone dressed in costume right off.  But I spent most of the day until 4 in the afternoon in the main building where they were signing autographs.  But pure dumb luck, my wife and I got in before the fire marshall locked the door.  After that, one out, one in.  And nobody would leave until they got all the autographs they wanted.  So you went through one line and then had to spend an hour and a half going through another.  I would never do it again.  But once in there I was determined to get them all.  I had them signing a 3-ft by 1-1/2 ft section of the left rear quarter that I sawed off a wreck.  This was the part in front of and behind the flip-top gas cap.  I repainted the section and put a repop gas cap on it.  Caused quite a stir when I would pull it out of the tow sack I had it in to get each autograph.  Needless to say, nobody else had one.  Did see some trunk lids, hoods, sun visors, and glove box doors being signed.  Once we left the builidng I saw a bunch of very p---ed off people who never got to see anybody.  If they had been able to get hold of Cooter, who put this on, they would have strung him up.  I am not a big Dukes fan but figured this would be a neat piece of garage art so that was why I went.  Plus, it was just up the road from Chattanooga where I live.
I told my wife as we were leaving that we had "done the Dukes" and would not be going to another one of these.  She was happy to hear that since she didn't want to go to this one in the first place.
