Although I went with EFI, here's my build. I couldn't be happier. Drivability is awesome, power is awesome, fuel mileage is much better than expected.

I bought mine used on ebay, it's an obsolete system. There are many choices now that are much easier to install and tune.

We have a 'proven engine combos' section, with lots of build information and threads.

Not verified. Other things have kept me from any long enough trips to check, though I did one trip to Orlando-about 120 miles-that was in the 15's with part highway/part city. I don't have the 3.55 gears in yet, either-still running with 4.10s.

I agree 15 with 4.10 is awesom we ran 4.30s in our 69 and it wasn't close to that good  :o

I have a Gear Vendors overdrive, which gives a final ratio of about 3.76:1. Still very good, and I expect better as the EFI and ignition get closer to optimal.

My Second-gen EFI (the one in the beginning of the engine thread) will have 100% tunability in ignition, fuel, and individual cylinder trim for both. It should also make a bunch more power.
