Hi all,

I'm helping a friend on a 68 road runner, and we're having trouble with the temp gauge not working.  The sender is new, and we have continuity from the sender to the terminal block.  When we ground the sender, there is no response on the gauge.  We checked the wire to the sender and there is no "pulse" to it.  What part of the circuit is set up to provide the pulse?

there is a power regulator behind the dash , it is a pulsing voltage & feeds temp gas & fuel gauge so make sure there is power to the gauge , if not you have a problem with the power which I believe is fed through the circuit board or a black wire , if there is power at the gauge then you should have power out on the other terminal , if not the gauge is bad , if there is power you should have power all the way out to the sending unit unless there is a connection problem at the bulkhead

could have a bad pin on the circuit board as well
