Howdy Folks,

Our Car Club had a run out to the local Airforce base yesterday, around 22 cars came along, the cool part was that we got to go out and skid on a part of the runway section, unfortunately there was no time for long runs up & down .
Funny enough, the convoy was held up at the gate for a VIP to come through, word was it was Leon Panetta U.S. Secretary of Defense, pity he didnt hang around for a few beers and a ride in the cars, he would've enjoyed it  :icon_smile_big:

The Camaro with the chute has done a 10.0

Cheers mate, there's quite a few other cool cars in the Club and a lot of Mopars too, most NZ's have a thing for Mustang and Camaro, cant understand it myself  ;)

Kelvin, you the man. Again. Great pics.

I love your plate: Buy American or Die. That is genuine redneck, and we certainly have lost the attitude here in the US. Thanks again.

Oh and the Charger looks great. Under the dark sky it is sharp. Dan. :2thumbs:

Same story here and in Europe and probably everywhere.  I have nothing against them but it's like people have zero imagination and just buy what the guy next door has.  Oh well, they built about a gazillion of them so might as well use them.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Did the rain hold off Bob T?  It's pretty much the same thing here too. Very little sunshine but plenty of clouds. Having said that though, it's Royal Melbourne Show time again and we've actually got good weather for it this time round. A most unusual phenomenon.

Hahaha, No-one has called me that before, well much anyway Dan    probably a Kiwi version of one anyway. Buy Amercian or Die is the tagline for a group of mates that have a loose social club ''The Villains" based around American cars, 50's & 60's Fin Cars and Muscle era cars. Its not the Club run that I did the pics for, thats seperate again.
For my money, in the Muscle car Era cars, the High Water mark are Mopar product and I'm very proud to own one and love driving it in a sea of modern sameness little grey boxes. Some of the guys in the social club own multiple cars and most of them have travel to the States often - a group of them even went to Tulsarama Miss Belvedere a few years back, what a sight that would be, already have my 2012 Carlisle shirt  ;D
We are definetly in the minority though but nothing wrong with that either, I organised a Mopar Run a few weeks back and we had 51 cars at the meetpoint for and hours drive, so it is great to see there are pockets of resistance still out there

Will look you up for a few beers when I come up there for a visit eh

Hi 2020, the wheels are 15 x 8 w 4.5'' b/s & 15 x 10 w 5'' b/s 54 series Mangum 500
Tyres are 225/60/15 & 295/50/15 BFG's, previous owner in USA put them on, they look the part though.

Yeah, only just though, cold cold as out on the base, looking forward to summer cruising after all the crapola weather recently.
