Yeah I saw that too.
My original type almost fell into the filler tube recently so I didnt put it back on. Perhaps the top part of my tube is out of shape?
Might have better luck with one of those....
Gotta love a '69

There was a thread on this recently. That is a non-Charger locking cap.
Chargers use a unique lock that fits in the tube. You'll see those other caps on B-bodies, E-bodies, etc.

Me neither.   :o
Was the coil always mounted on the inner fender when it was a RHD car??

3 brake lines? On what looks to be the original power Drum setup.  :scratchchin:

That looks so weird to see the brake components on the right like that. Wonder where the AC blower motor is? I can see that they plugged the normal headlight vacuum line hole.

I doubt it's a factory RHD conversion. In fact I don't think they made any that way.
They've used an Aussie Valiant dash by the look of it.

Yea, so does anyone know if they did?  Was that kind of thing even required back then?

To have them in Australia in 1969 it was mandatory.  To my knowledge Chrysler did not do any factory RHD conversions.

doctor4766

Maybe not on Chargers Ghoste. but there were a number of US cars assembled in South Africa that were factory RHD.

Yes sorry, I should have been specific there I was only referring to Chargers.

My 70 charger was an export car ordered through the local Chrysler dealership at Mudgee in Australia. Once in the country it was contracted out to be converted to right hand drive this job was not done by Chrysler.
