4 spd wiring

Hi all. Anyone have a pic of the 4 speed wiring for reverse lights at the bulkhead??. I got a repo wiring harness and it doesn't look like it will go on how I had envisioned it. Thanks

Will see if I have a picture the 2 wires are on the top of bulkhead coming of the wiper wiper harness connector

Yes,I have the diagram. But it looks like it should actually be a harness,with housings. The one short "jumper" has a housing on it. I thought all ends would just plug into the bulkhead but it can't with the housing on it. The diagram doesn't show connectors though.

Didnt have a 4 speed car picture .But this shows the wires.The 2 wires on top left of the wiper harness connection black and black w white .They might be purple on a 4 speed.You see the black curved plug .Those wires go to the 4 speed trans mounted switch.And one wire is the light and other is 12 volts.The reverse mechanism triggers it on and off .The only other wire used for a 4 speed is on bulkhead terminal Z black w white line .And is for the 4 speed rev light inside

Thanks,that's what I thought when I saw the harness. Where is the other wire.? One of the wires in the bulkhead should have another shorter wire coming off. I can't make it out.

Only two wires for the reverse light switch.  Purple and a black with a white tracer.

The circuit for the back up light power is from the orange & white radio connection.The terminal Z bulkhead connection black white wire runs out side the harness from the reverse light to the bulkhead

Can you show you cars underhood or the harness your using

If you look at the engine side of this diagram (not showing on here) you will see there is another wire coming from either spot C or spot D that goes to spot Z. I can take a pic when I get home tonight. On the diagram it also shows no connector like yours,it just looks like the harness should plug in the bulkhead. Thank you for your time

I will run those 2 wires down to there origins .Im pretty sure one of the whites goes to the radio connection.

Terminal C from bulkhead to # 4 body wiring connection


Terminal D from bulkhead goes to a automatic trans back up switch

Might have a strictly 4 speed diagram

See the 4 speed back up lamp switch 2 purple AKA Violet wires going to C & D terminals

My diagram has (from back up switch on trans) a violet one going to "D" and a black one going to "C".My diagram also has a wire going from"C" to "Z". On the actual harness I recieved from Mega Parts,the one from "C" to "Z" has a housing on it so it wouldn't plug directly to the bulkhead,there must be a very short harness. I have a pic of my harness attached.
Also,the "Z" spot (on my diagram says to 4 spd console) ,is this for the dash mounted reverse light?
Next question,where can I get the terminal housings like yours,I need at least the male half,if I can find my female half. Confused more?? I am. LOL

Id say the 2 bare terminals go in the C&D bulkhead .And other wire for inside reverse light.The half shell terminal cover might be a junkyard item.I dont know who sells them
