I have never been to Monster Mopar in Indy and I'm thinking about going this year. What is it like? Big event like Carlisle or Nats? Is it like the Nats with drag racing all day, swap meet, car show, etc.? I live in Columbus, so I'll probably be driving the Charger over there.
Thanks!

This is the first year I will be going to Indy.  I was in Stlouis in the spring.  It is not nearly as big as Carlysle and I have never been to the nats, but I would say it is worth the trip if it is anything like the spring fling.

It isn't that big, but it is getting there.  It is a great time for all.

monster mopar was always a great show when in st.louis. havent been to indy yet, but with the racing all day and the swap meet plus the car show, its an all around good time. im into the drag racing, so the all day racing is what pulls me in. :2thumbs:

Ryan,
Thanks for the pics! Two questions: 1. Is there a small oval track there that you can take your car on? 2. Saw night pics, is there a night cruise too?

A) There is something for the Wing Cars group last year.  And I believe some new Mopars.  I have no idea about any others.  It isn't as though anyone can just go out there at any time.  It is a good sized track.

B) Friday night there is a large party in downtown Indy @ the Slippery Noodle.  Lots of Mopars and lots of fun as you could see.  Not a cruise per-say.  Then Saturday is Party in the Pits.
